Projects & Access

1 min read

The Projects settings section shows who can open each project in the workspace: people added directly, and groups.

Use it to check access. To open or create projects, use the main workspace Projects page.

Each row shows:

  • Project: the project name, with its project code.
  • People: people added to the project directly.
  • Groups: groups that have access to the project.
  • Access: a badge saying how people get in:
    • Users: only people added directly.
    • Groups: only through groups.
    • Users & groups: both.
    • No access: nobody can open the project.

A warning icon marks a project that no user or group can open.

Select a column header (Project, People or Groups) to sort by it.

Expand a row, by selecting it or its chevron, to see:

  • The description, project ID (with a copy button) and project code.
  • People: each person added directly, with their project role. People who are no longer active show an Inactive badge.
  • Groups: each group, with its project role and member count.

Use Open project on a row to go to the project.

Search matches project name, ID, code and description.

You can filter by:

  • Access coverage: has any access, no access, direct users only, groups only, or both users and groups.
  • User coverage: has users or no users.
  • Group coverage: has groups or no groups.

You can sort by:

  • Project name
  • Direct user count
  • Group count
  • No access first: projects nobody can open come first.
