Browser & Technical Troubleshooting Guide

This guide helps you resolve common browser-related and technical issues that may affect your experience in Hawzu.
Most issues are caused by browser state, caching, or extensions and can be fixed quickly.
Page Not Loading or Loading Slowly
Section titled “Page Not Loading or Loading Slowly”Problem
Pages take a long time to load, partially load, or do not load at all.
Possible Causes
Section titled “Possible Causes”- Stale browser cache
- Unsupported or outdated browser
- Network instability
- Interfering browser extensions
Solutions
Section titled “Solutions”1. Hard Refresh
Section titled “1. Hard Refresh”- Perform a hard refresh:
- Windows/Linux:
Ctrl + F5 - macOS:
Cmd + R
- Windows/Linux:
2. Clear Cache and Cookies
Section titled “2. Clear Cache and Cookies”- Clear browser cache and cookies
- Reload the page after clearing
3. Browser Compatibility
Section titled “3. Browser Compatibility”- Use a supported browser:
- Chrome
- Firefox
- Safari
- Edge
- Update your browser to the latest version
4. Network Check
Section titled “4. Network Check”- Verify your internet connection is stable
- Try switching networks if possible
5. Disable Extensions
Section titled “5. Disable Extensions”- Temporarily disable browser extensions
- Ad blockers, password managers, or privacy tools may interfere
Buttons or Features Not Working
Section titled “Buttons or Features Not Working”Problem
Buttons, forms, dropdowns, or actions do not respond.
Possible Causes
Section titled “Possible Causes”- JavaScript execution errors
- Cached outdated application state
- Browser extensions interfering with scripts
Solutions

Section titled “1. Refresh the Page”- Reload the page and retry the action
- Try a hard refresh if needed
2. Ensure JavaScript Is Enabled
Section titled “2. Ensure JavaScript Is Enabled”- JavaScript must be enabled for Hawzu to function correctly
- Check browser settings if unsure
3. Check Browser Console (Advanced)
Section titled “3. Check Browser Console (Advanced)”- Open Developer Tools (
F12orCmd + Option + I) - Look for red error messages in the Console tab
- If errors are present, capture them and contact support
4. Update Browser
Section titled “4. Update Browser”- Older browser versions may not support newer features
- Update to the latest stable version
Display or Layout Issues
Section titled “Display or Layout Issues”Problem
UI elements look misaligned, overlapping, or broken.
Possible Causes
Section titled “Possible Causes”- Browser zoom or OS scaling
- Unsupported screen resolution
- Outdated browser rendering engine
Solutions
Section titled “Solutions”1. Reset Zoom
Section titled “1. Reset Zoom”- Set browser zoom to 100%
- Avoid custom zoom levels for best layout accuracy
2. Check Screen Scaling
Section titled “2. Check Screen Scaling”- Ensure OS display scaling is set to recommended values
- High scaling values may affect layout
3. Use Supported Browsers
Section titled “3. Use Supported Browsers”- Ensure you are using a modern browser
- Update if the issue persists
Performance Feels Slow
Section titled “Performance Feels Slow”Problem
Navigation or interactions feel sluggish.
Solutions
Section titled “Solutions”- Close unused browser tabs
- Avoid running heavy applications simultaneously
- Clear cache and reload
- Try incognito/private mode to rule out extensions
When to Contact Support
Section titled “When to Contact Support”Contact support@snoowl.com if:
- Issues persist across multiple browsers
- Errors appear consistently in the browser console
- UI breaks after every refresh
- Multiple users experience the same problem
Include:
- Browser name and version
- Operating system
- Screenshots or console errors (if available)
