Charts are added inside a panel. Open the panel where the chart should appear, then select Add Insight. It’s at the top of the panel, or in the middle of an empty panel.
Add Insight opens a window with three tabs: Smart Insights, Collections and Custom Builder.
Smart Insights
Section titled “Smart Insights”Smart Insights are ready-made charts for common questions.

Open a panel.

Select Add Insight.

Choose Smart Insights.

Review the available insight cards.

Select Add on the insight you want.
If an insight is already on the panel, its button shows Added and it can’t be added again.
Collections
Section titled “Collections”A collection is a set of insights for one purpose, such as release sign-off. In Collections, select Add all to add every insight in the set that isn’t on the panel yet. See Collections.
Custom Builder
Section titled “Custom Builder”Use Custom Builder when you want to choose the chart’s data and layout yourself.

Select Add Insight.

Choose Custom Builder.

Enter a Chart Title.

Select a Data Source.

Select the X Axis.

Select the Y Axis.

Select a Chart Type.

Select Create Chart.
Create Chart is available once all required fields are filled in.
Suggest An Insight
Section titled “Suggest An Insight”If no ready-made insight or custom chart gives you what you need, ask for one.

Select Add Insight in a panel.

Under Can’t find what you need?, select Suggest an insight. The Request Custom Chart dialog opens.

Describe the chart in Chart Description. It must be at least 50 characters, and Hawzu shows the count as you type.

Select Submit Request.
Choosing A Method
Section titled “Choosing A Method”- Use Smart Insights for common questions, one chart at a time.
- Use Collections to add a ready-made set at once.
- Use Custom Builder for project-specific charts.
- Use Suggest an insight when your team needs a chart that doesn’t exist yet.
